Your Journey to Scaling Your Business’s Impact Starts Here

Business’s Impact

Hey Founder,

Do you want to use your business to make a bolder difference in the world? There are a lot of good reasons to do so—more energy and focus on your part; more engaged and loyal employees and customers. But scaling your business’s impact does require several steps more or less in sequential order.

I know this because I’ve scaled my purpose in three companies and worked with scores of founders to scale their passions through their businesses. It helps if you think of your company as existing somewhere on the curve of adolescence, packed with people who are full of unbridled energy and the search for independence and a larger purpose.

In order to come into your prime, you and your company need to go through a three-step process that channels and targets all that energy and passion. The process goes like this:

  1. Lead yourself: The first and critical step for navigating adolescence is to unlock your superpowers and elevate your leadership by harnessing your purpose, energy, focus and mindset around the things that matter most to you. It’s about doing plenty of soul searching and developing daily habits that put you on top of your game.

  2. Lead others and construct a scalable company: In this second phase, you strengthen your company’s foundation by choosing your purpose, driving clarity around your npla, achieving alignment among your leadership team and setting the pace for urgent and responsible growth. In essence, you develop a playbook or launch plan that will serve as your company’s North Star through its many ups and downs.

  3. Inspire a culture: Now you’re ready to apply the spark that cascades your purpose throughout the organization and beyond. By building a leadership totem pole and empowering your employees not simply to be accountable and autonomous but also responsible, you create an exponential impact with your purpose that radiates well beyond the four walls of your business.

While there are no shortcuts to impact, the great news is impact comes in every imaginable shape and size, so the only thing stopping you from starting the journey is you. My company ScalePassion has created a scorecard that lets you assess where you are in your impact journey. It’s quick, easy and free and definitely worth a few minutes of your time.

Sincerely,
