Let’s Talk Turkey about Gratitude

I was journaling in my personal flight plan this morning and thought “this is an appropriate time to add to my gratitude section.” First and foremost, I’m grateful for my family. I’ve got a loving mom, amazing wife, two inspiring daughters—I just feel so blessed to be surrounded by so many amazing women in my life.

I have a ton of gratitude for our current clients at ScalePassion. All of you have bet on me, our team, and our philosophies; you’re allowing us to play a little bit with that. So, immense gratitude to our current clients, especially those who have been with us for a year or two. We’ve worked together, poured into each other and become better organizations through our partnership.

I am grateful to have been able to put myself in a position to harness my personal passion to scale impact into the work we do at ScalePassion. I’m grateful for the energy with which I bound out of bed each morning to walk the dog, grab a cup of coffee, and get to work with some amazing people. I am so grateful for my team that stands shoulder to shoulder with me to achieve our purpose of radically evolving capitalism.I’m also grateful for the lessons I get to learn every single day; especially the lessons that grow out of the biggest challenges.

I am grateful for you! For being on this journey with us.

There are many other things for which I am grateful, and I encourage you to make your own list and add to it throughout the year. You don’t have to wait until Thanksgiving to review it. Look at it and reflect on it often. Maybe write a short note to the people on your list expressing your sincere gratitude. Then you’ll feel the rush of powerful energy that comes from gratitude. And if you aren’t plugged in with your purpose at work and with a company and tribe who are in their purpose with you, consider making a move towards that scenario in the new year.

The ScalePassion team is here to help you wherever you are in your journey.
